Q: Is this for real?

A: Yes, I actually moved from the U.S., with almost nothing, to a remote jungle area of Costa Rica, and recently came back and started off around the U.S., living out of a truck camper.

Q: Are you independently wealthy?

A: No. And I have very little expendable income or savings.

Q: How do you make a living?

A: I am a freelance writer, photographer, and web content manager. Although right now I’m mostly living off a little savings and donations.

Q: Why are you doing this?

A: Because I can.

Q: Are you sponsored by any scientific research group, corporation, or TV show?

A: Not yet…but I’ll entertain an offer if you have one!

Q: Where are you from, and where are you going?

A: Born and raised in small-town southeast Texas. Lived in L.A. and Austin mostly. I suppose it’s easiest to say I’m from Austin, since I spent the last 10+ years there. As for where I’m going….well now, that gets into philosophy I suppose, but the easy answer is that I’m driving around the country and will have a resting point in California, and then not sure where to after that. I may settle there, return to Austin, hitch a ride to Siberia, or give Mars or Venus a try…we’ll see.
